The cat strikes back

Was reading the Art of War last night, and woke up this morning with a nagging feeling that my kitchen was under siege. In true Sun Tzu strategy, it was an attempt by the evil cat hordes of my neighbourhood to cut off my water supply and eventually take over my pad.

In less paranoid news, my recent book purchases have taken a crypto theme. From Simon Singh's The Cracking Codebook to Schneier's Applied Cryptography. The Code Book by Singh, which I read a while back, sparked an intense and possibly life-long fascination with Enigma that borders on unhealthy. I'll always be grateful for that.

Also found this little gem at the recent book fair. Pranced on it immediately and didn't let go.
